When comparing steel wheelbarrows to poly wheelbarrows, there isn't a single "best" option, but rather two options that offer different benefits.

Steel wheelbarrows are generally more durable over time than poly wheelbarrows and are better suited to transporting heavier or more abrasive materials. Their steel trays are extremely robust and are often preferred for demanding construction and landscaping work.

Poly wheelbarrows are lighter, easier to clean, and rust-resistant. Their lighter weight also makes them easier to manoeuvre, particularly if you are transporting materials over longer distances or have difficulty moving heavier loads.

The Westmix WMX model is also available in a poly tray version for users who prefer that option.
