3-bar Trench Mesh (6mtr x 200mm)

3-bar trench mesh is a type of reinforcing steel mesh designed to strengthen concrete footings and narrow concrete structures. It consists of three longitudinal reinforcing bars connected by cross-wires.

It is used for the stabilisation of concrete strip footings, house and building foundations, concrete ground beams, retaining wall footings and as reinforcement in narrow concrete trenches.

The general process for installing 3-bar trench mesh includes:

1. Excavating the trench to the required dimensions.
2. Preparing the trench base according to your project specifications.
3. Positioning the trench mesh within the trench using bar chairs for stability.
4. Pouring the concrete around the mesh

Each length of 3-bar trench mesh is 6 metres long. To calculate how many lengths you need, measure the total length of the footing or trench requiring reinforcement and divide it by 6 metres.

What is the difference between 3-bar trench mesh and standard reinforcing mesh?

3-bar trench mesh: Features three reinforcing bars and is designed for narrow concrete footings and trenches.

Standard reinforcing mesh: Consists of a grid design and is used to reinforce concrete slabs, driveways, paths and floors.
