Recycled Drainage Gravel (10mm)

Recycled Drainage Gravel is a cost-effective option for diverting water and improving drainage, often in conjunction with other drainage systems. It is also a great way to reduce waterlogging by allowing the free flow of water through your outdoor space.

Recycled Drainage Gravel is commonly used for:

In most drainage applications, Recycled Drainage Gravel is just as effective as quarried drainage gravel. The main difference is in the appearance and purity of the product.

Recycled Drainage Gravel is made by crushing used concrete, so its appearance is generally less refined than standard drainage gravel, which is produced from quarried stone. Due to the recycling process, it may also contain small impurities such as metal, steel, or wood, as the concrete is often sourced from demolition sites.

To calculate how much Recycled Drainage Gravel you need for your project, measure the length and width of the area where the gravel will be placed.

Next, determine the desired depth of the gravel. The required depth will vary depending on the project you are undertaking and the area you need to fill.

Once you have your length, width, and depth measurements, you can use our cubic metre calculator above or calculate the volume manually using the following formula:

Volume = Length × Width × Height

Note: We recommend adding at least 10% extra to your total calculated volume to allow for settling and levelling.

We recommend using Bidim filter cloth (geofabric) and AG pipe to improve water flow and reduce blockages caused by soil and sediment. For relatively little extra cost and effort, adding these two products can significantly improve the performance of your drainage system and help future-proof your hard work for years to come.
