Identified by its coarse texture and dark green leaves, Palmetto Buffalo Turf is the perfect choice for those wanting a low maintenance buffalo lawn that looks green and lush no matter the season. Originating in central Florida, its drought and heat tolerance is second to none making it a great choice for backyards and high-heat locations. Palmetto is shade tolerant, extremely hard wearing and its thin layer of thatch gives it amazing insulation properties.

One of the most striking features of Palmetto Buffalo is its ability to maintain its colour in winter months. It succeeds in staying green where other varieties can turn brown or sometimes purple.

Need to know:

  • Water once every 7-10 days during summer and less in cooler months
