Linearwall Retaining Wall Blocks are installed by creating a stable base and building the wall up course by course. The general installation process includes:

  1. Excavating and preparing a level base.
  2. Installing a compacted gravel or road base footing.
  3. Laying the first course of blocks accurately.
  4. Stacking additional blocks while maintaining alignment.
  5. Installing drainage behind the wall where required.
  6. Backfilling with suitable material.

The number of Linearwall Retaining Wall Blocks required depends on the length and height of your retaining wall. Each block measures 300 × 200 × 150mm, with approximately 22.2 blocks required per face square metre.

To calculate the quantity required, measure the total length and height of your retaining wall to determine the total face area in square metres. Multiply the total face area by 22.2 blocks per square metre to estimate the number of blocks required.

For example, a wall measuring 5m long × 0.6m high has a face area of 3m², requiring approximately 67 blocks before allowing for wastage.

Note: We recommend allowing approximately 5–10% extra blocks for cuts, breakages, installation adjustments, and future replacements.
