Gap Fill Sand is a fine sand blend commonly used for:

• Filling joints between paving stones and pavers
• Stabilising paving installations
• Locking pavers in place to reduce movement
• Helping suppress weed growth between pavers
• General landscaping and hardscape finishing

Step 1: Ensure your pavers have been installed correctly and the paved area is clean and dry. Using a stiff broom, sweep the Gap Fill Sand across the surface, working it into all of the joints until they are completely filled.

Step 2: Once the joints are filled, lightly compact the paved area using a plate compactor, rubber mallet, or hand tamper. This helps the sand settle into the joints and locks the pavers firmly into place.

Step 3: After compacting, inspect the joints and add more Gap Fill Sand wherever necessary. Sweep away any excess sand remaining on the surface.

Step 4: Lightly mist the paved area with water to activate the binding agents in the sand. Avoid using a heavy stream of water, as this can wash the sand out of the joints.

For the best results, allow the paved area to cure for approximately three days before subjecting it to regular foot or vehicle traffic.
