Zoysia Australis performs well in full sun to medium shade, requiring a minimum of 4 hours of direct sunlight per day and handling up to 70–75% shade. This makes it a strong choice for yards with trees, buildings or filtered light.

With medium-to-good wear tolerance, Zoysia Australis stands up to active families and pets. Its strong rhizome growth and deep root system help it recover effectively from regular use.
