SmartPave Permeable Pavers

Yes. SmartPave is suitable for residential driveways and other surfaces exposed to vehicle traffic when installed correctly. It is important to properly prepare and compact the base and follow the manufacturer's installation instructions to achieve the best results.

SmartPave Permeable Pavers are designed with a permeable base and honeycomb cell structure that allows water to filter through the surface rather than pooling on top. This helps improve drainage, manage stormwater runoff, and reduce surface water and pooling.

SmartPave Panels, in both the white and grey colourways, measure 1144mm × 806mm. Each panel covers approximately 0.92m². To work out how many SmartPave Panels you need:

Step 1: Measure the length and width of the area in metres.
Step 2: Multiply the length by the width to calculate the total area in square metres.
Total area (m²) = Length × Width
Step 3: Divide the total area by 0.92m² to calculate the number of panels required. Always round up to the nearest whole panel.

For example, if your area is 20m²:

20 ÷ 0.92 = 21.74

You would need 22 SmartPave Panels, before allowing extra for cuts and adjustments.

Note: We recommend adding approximately 5–10% extra for cuts, edges, installation adjustments, and future repairs. Allowing extra is particularly important for areas with complex layouts or multiple shapes.
