Slash Pine Fines (Certified Softfall)

Slash Pine Fines, commonly referred to as certified softfall mulch, is a finely screened pine bark product designed specifically for impact absorption under play equipment. Made from premium Slash Pine and certified to Australian Standards, this softfall mulch is widely used in schools, childcare centres, parks, playgrounds and residential backyards where safety is critical.

With particle sizes up to 10mm, Slash Pine Fines create a soft, cushiony surface that remains stable when compacted, helping to reduce the risk of injury from falls. This makes it an ideal softfall mulch solution in Brisbane for both commercial and home applications. Beyond safety, it also performs well as a fine decorative mulch, suppressing weeds and protecting soil from erosion and moisture loss.

Certification documentation is available on request, making this product suitable for council-approved and commercial playground installations.

Important installation note:
When used in playgrounds, always follow Australian Standard guidelines for loose-fill surfaces. Minimum depths typically start at 300mm, depending on the potential fall height.
