Road Base

Road Base is a blend of gravel and fine material which, when compacted, will form a hard surface. It is commonly used to stabilise poor soils or surfaces and can be used as a base for retaining walls and driveways. It is also compactable and when machine compacted is suitable to use as a base when paving. In fact, we recommend road base if looking for compacting gravel.
