LSA Battle Insecticide (1ltr)

LSA Battle Insecticide is suitable for controlling a wide range of pests, including Lawn Armyworm, African Black Beetle adults, Funnel Ants and other ant species, Subterranean Termites, Argentine Stem Weevil, Billbug adults, Paper Nest Wasps, Midges, Fleas, and Ticks.

Battle Insecticide is a concentrate, and different pests require different dilution rates. All mixing instructions and application rates are clearly labelled on the bottle.

A single bottle of Battle Insecticide can cover approximately 2,300–8,300 m², depending on the target pest and application rate. For application, we recommend using power sprayers, hand-held pump sprayers, or backpack sprayers that produce large droplets to help minimise spray drift.

LSA Battle Insecticide is primarily a knockdown treatment and can begin killing pests within 24 hours of contact. If pests are still present after the first treatment, the product can be reapplied every 7–10 days until the infestation is under control.

While Battle Insecticide does leave behind some residual protection, it is designed more as an immediate treatment rather than a long-term preventative solution. Once the pests have been eliminated, we recommend using a preventative product such as Grub Guard Ultimate or Acelepryn for ongoing year-round lawn protection.

Yes, Battle Insecticide can be safely used on all common lawn varieties, including buffalo, couch, kikuyu, zoysia, and cool-season grasses.

Different pests require different mixing rates and application methods. If you are treating spiders, Paper Nest Wasps, ants, cockroaches, mosquitoes, biting midges, flies, ticks, or fleas, there is no need to water in the product after application.

However, when treating Lawn Armyworm, Sod Webworm, Argentine Stem Weevil, African Black Beetle, or Billbug, it is recommended to water the treated area with up to 4 mm of water after application. This helps the solution penetrate the soil and target soil-dwelling pests more effectively.
