Adbri-Versawall Caps

Adbri Versawall Caps are finishing blocks designed to create a clean, polished appearance on top of retaining walls built using the Adbri Versawall Retaining Wall System.

Using Adbri Versawall Caps provides both aesthetic and practical benefits. They help create a neat, finished appearance while also providing additional protection to the top of the retaining wall from weather exposure.

Installing Adbri Versawall Caps involves securing the caps to the top course of Versawall retaining wall blocks. The general installation process includes:

1. Ensure the top row of retaining wall blocks is clean, level, and stable.
2. Dry lay the caps first to plan the layout.
3. Apply a suitable masonry or construction adhesive.
4. Position the caps evenly along the top of the wall.
5. Allow the adhesive to cure before placing weight on the caps.

The number of Adbri Versawall Caps required depends on the total length of your retaining wall. Each cap measures 300mm (L) × 250mm (D) × 60mm (H), with approximately 3.3 caps required per lineal metre.

To calculate how many caps you need:

1. Measure the total length of your retaining wall in metres.
2. Multiply the wall length by 3.3 caps per lineal metre.
3. Round up to the nearest whole cap.
4. Allow extra caps for corners, cuts, and installation adjustments.

For example, a 6-metre retaining wall would require approximately 20 Versawall Caps before allowing for any additional caps needed for cuts or adjustments.

Note: Adbri Versawall is designed for vertical retaining walls up to 800mm high when unreinforced, subject to the applicable installation requirements and site conditions.
