Pricing and Availability of Products and/or Services
All pricing on this website is displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and is inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change any price at which we offer our products or services and to correct any errors in pricing contained on our web site. While we fully honour all of our commitments, RnS shall have no liability for any such changes and/or errors and we are not bound to fulfil orders at outdated or erroneous prices. All products and services are subject to availability and we give no guarantee in this regard.
We endeavour to have information on our website accurate at all times. However, you acknowledge and accept that the website information is subject to change at any time and may not necessarily be up to date at the time of your visit. All products comply with relevant Australian Standards and applicable laws. If we are unable to supply a product as described a full refund will be offered.
Product Selection and Use
The Customer acknowledges that they purchase soil products and associated quarry/rock products (‘Products’) from RnS at their own risk.
Please be advised that our soils are manufactured products, made from a variety of quarried and composted organic materials, which may render them unsuitable for a particular use.
Our quarry/rock products are sourced from a number of locations and naturally vary in content, size, colour, texture and shape. The Customer must take responsibility for ensuring specific requirements and reports are provided where you believe it is warranted by you as the Customer.
RnS will, however, where reasonably practicable, provide test reports for any required products upon request (fees may apply). We will endeavour to meet your specific requirements and work with you to deliver a suitable product.
RnS does not guarantee nor warrant that the Products will match the sample requested by the Customer to their exact specifications or as to their quality as these Products may have variations in size, colour, texture and shape or that Product descriptions or other Product contents are accurate, complete, reliable and or current.
The soil that RnS receives could contain constituents/analyses that are background (or naturally occurring) to the area of original extraction. Given this, such constituents could be considered contaminants in the destination area administered by the Customer.
RnS does not accept liability for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, consequential or economic) however caused, and whether by negligence or otherwise, which may result directly or indirectly from use of Products supplied. RnS will not indemnify any Customer against a loss or liability that has been reasonably incurred by the Customer as the result of a claim made by the Customer and or by a third party where that loss or liability was caused or contributed by Products purchased from RnS. Product descriptions are subject to change at any time and without prior notice.
Cancellation of Orders / Refunds
Orders may only be cancelled if goods have not already been dispatched. If goods have been dispatched but not yet delivered, a refund less cost of the delivery fee will be considered. No refunds will be given without a receipt. Please refer to our Refund policy.
Web site content and product information
The product images used on the Rock ‘N’ Soil website are for illustrative purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product. We do not provide any guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the products or the images for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and naturally occurring variations in colour, tones, size, texture and shape and we expressly exclude liability for any such variation, inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. We recommend that customers unfamiliar with the product visit us in store to obtain a sample of the product before purchasing online.
Surcharges
When purchasing in-store a 1.1% surcharge on all credit card transactions applies and a 0.52% surcharge on all eftpos transactions applies. This fee is no greater than the fee our business pays Visa and Mastercard. This fee includes GST. We believe in presenting these fees transparently, allowing you to make an informed decision when you choose your form of payment.
If you require a refund for a product or service your credit card surcharge fee will not be included in your refunded amount.
When purchasing online a 2.85% surcharge covers both card transaction fees and online processing fees.
Welcome 10% Off Offer
Our 10% off offer applies to orders that have been made through the website only. You can’t receive this discount in-store or online. To also get this discount you must allow Rock N Soil to add your email to our mailing list to receive further discounts and offers. In the instance where there are technical difficulties using the website please call our office and we can help you place your order. Note that this offer does not apply to special order items or already discounted products.
